About:

Activists and community leaders Alex U. Inn and Juanita MORE! created the People's March and Rally in San Francisco, an annual event that began in 2020, aimed at supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals and people of color, particularly in response to increasing attacks on these communities. The march and rally features speeches, performances, and a celebration, emphasizing unity and activism against social injustices. We invite community members, allies, and supporters to join us in standing together for change.

As a collective, the People's March stands in unwavering commitment with the BIPOC communities — trans, cisgender, nonbinary, lesbian, gay, straight, queer, questioning, two-spirit, and all. They come together in full solidarity with their family members, friends, lovers, and neighbors. They join to denounce and condemn violence against these communities and to raise awareness of the need to abolish and defund police departments' policies as they stand today. The event will prioritize safety measures and accessibility for all participants.

An all-Black, Brown, and Indigenous committee of queer and trans community leaders, artists, and performers always led the march. Join them as we march in unity to demand fundamental human rights and to demolish these targeted laws. Your participation helps strengthen this leadership and our shared fight for justice.
