Founded in 2022 by Felipe Leon, Dance Laboratory is a residency program that offers four local San Francisco and Bay Area choreographers to have an unconstrained space to dream, develop and express an innovative new work featuring the dancers of the Diablo Ballet. This platform will offer new and experienced choreographers the opportunity to explore their creativity, gain experience and reach their full potential as choreographers and artists. One of the four choreographers will have the opportunity to be selected by the audience to be featured in the 2022/2023 Diablo Ballet season, which will be performed at the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek, Ca.
