Gorgeous Drag - Interpride

In addition to Waterman and Stephan Schmid of Albumen Gallery, panelists will include Drag Queen Juanita MORE!, Madonna Cacciatore of InterPride; and radio and TV talk show host Michelle Meow, who will moderate the livestream.  Juanita MORE! is a denizen of the limelight. For almost three decades, the laudable hostess has blitzed San Francisco with high glamour, drag irreverence, and danceable beats that have illuminated the entire city. Michelle Meow is the producer and host of  “InterPod,” the official podcast of InterPride, and The Michelle Meow Show, “Your A-Z covering the LGBT, LMNOP, and everyone in between." Discussion will center on the major influence of drag artists on popular culture at large.

All event attendees will be automatically entered into a contest to win a signed, limited edition copy of the book Elizabeth Waterman: Photographs 2011-2016. All “Gorgeous Drag” images are available for sale as signed and numbered limited edition fine art archival pigment prints (in three sizes), certificate of authenticity included. The edition of 100 signed books will also be available for sale.

A portion of proceeds from print and book sales during the closing event and through October 27th will benefit InterPride, a non-profit organization that brings together Pride networks and individual Pride organizations around the world, contributing to the global coordination of Pride efforts.  All continents are represented in their membership, which numbers more than 400 organizations in more than 70 countries.  Equal rights for LGBTQIA communities and advancing global Pride communities are central to the purpose and work of InterPride.
