Hailing from New York City, Sparber started DJing around his home in the East Village by purchasing two Technics 1200 turntables, cobbling together a few mixtapes with his ever-growing vinyl collection and subsequently landing gigs at Meow Mix, the Cock, Mr. Black and other New York nightlife institutions. Within a few years, he became known for his eclectic mix of disco, house and booty beats and was traveling to London and San Francisco on the regular to play at Dirtbox, Booty Call, Horse Meat Disco and open for the likes of Roisin Murphy and Junior Vasquez.
His weekly Wednesday New York party at Eastern Bloc called Good Times has become a go-to for DJ stars from all over the world (Victor Rodriguez, Juanita More, Honey Dijon, House of Stank, Chris Bowen, Severino, etc) and is still going strong five years later. He was last in San Francisco to play Juanita's Red Carpet Halloween Massacre last October and is thrilled to be back for her legendary Pride party.
